Reducose® is an extract from the leaves of the white mulberry tree that inhibits the enzymes responsible for breaking down carbohydrates. It can therefore help lower the glycemic index of carbohydrate-containing meals and reduce blood sugar spikes after eating.

This process can activate the so-called "ileal brake"—a natural mechanism that occurs when undigested material reaches the ileum (the last section of the small intestine) and binds nutrients to receptors. This slows gastric emptying, slows digestion, and increases satiety.

Taking Dietbacs® may involve a short adjustment period at first while the gut microbiome adjusts to the new ingredients. When should you stop taking Dietbacs®?

Generally, there's nothing wrong with taking it during periods such as trying to conceive, pregnancy, or breastfeeding. However, Dietbacs® is reluctant to make general recommendations during such sensitive periods of life. Therefore, we strongly recommend consulting your physician before taking it to ensure the product is tailored to your individual needs.
