On Black Friday, we helped fund a research project to combat marine debris in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. In addition to our monthly contribution, 3% of our Black Friday sales went directly to the project.
about the project
The project aims to preserve and restore the beautiful and unique marine ecosystem of one of the most remote places on earth. The approximately 2000 km long coastline offers a variety of beaches and is home to 1000 endemic species.
The aim of the year-long research project is to set up an island-wide system for the disposal of plastic waste in order to protect the ocean from the negative effects of tourism.
