The microbiome
The human microbiome consists of around 40 trillion microorganisms, which mainly settle in the gastrointestinal tract. A balanced microbiome contributes to optimal nutrient utilization, protects the sensitive intestinal mucosa and promotes a smooth digestive process. However, people are exposed to a wide variety of environmental influences every day through food intake. Therefore, it often happens that pathogens (bacteria, viruses, parasites and fungi) throw this actually resistant organism out of balance. Carefully selected bacterial strains can restore this balance. Beneficial specimens of this species are known in technical jargon as probiotics.
Scientific Research
The start and end point of our product development is always scientific research. The key points are that all bacterial strains have been tested for efficacy and tolerability in double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical studies and that the exact dosage of the bacterial strains has been observed, as has also been tested and proven effective in human clinical studies. In our work, it is important to us to identify benefits for human health while making advances in the areas of microbiome and probiotics. For this we work together with leading experts, research institutes and companies.

We combine science and natural innovation
Science is not static - there are 98,096 publications on PubMed related to the microbiome, probiotics and prebiotics (and new ones are added every day). We are in constant exchange with scientists and doctors from all over the world and are always up to date! Although we know that research is still in its infancy, we are convinced that research into the microbiome has enormous potential. We want to actively shape the future and want to create added value that is not only measurable but also noticeable - BETTER INPUTS, BETTER OUTPUTS! If you want to delve even deeper, check out our bibliography for our studies.
Multi-Species Concept
In order to enable high resistance and functionality, high-quality synbiotics are subject to the multi-species concept. This means the combination of different bacterial strains in order to bring about a greater overall benefit through additive, synergistic effects. Numerous studies have analyzed the underlying mechanisms of this concept
The combination of prebiotics and probiotics

Independent, controlled studies have shown that the targeted colonization of the intestine takes place more successfully through the use of a synbiotic. This term refers to the combination of prebiotics and probiotics. Probiotics represent selected bacterial cultures. Prebiotics, on the other hand, consist of indigestible biomolecules that serve as a food source for beneficial bacterial cultures. Through this symbiosis, the cultures can successfully integrate into the microbiome. Controlled studies have shown that the targeted colonization of the intestine is more successful with the use of a synbiotic than with a pure probiotic. Our Dailybacs are therefore not only probiotics, but can also be called synbiotics!
Science only differentiates according to biological sex
From a biological point of view, women's and men's bodies differ in terms of their functions and thus also their needs. To address this, we have specially developed a women's and a men's product. Of course we are aware that there is a large transgender community and people of non-binary gender. You can take our Dailybacs without hesitation regardless of your gender identification. If you need help finding the right wording for you or have other questions, please feel free to get in touch
Was sind Health Claims?
Health-related statements and promises for food and nutritional supplements should be understandable for consumers. The so-called Health Claims Regulation lists what can and cannot be said about food and dietary supplements in the European Union. As such, our hands are tied on some ingredients, although we'd love to write more about the scientific evidence surrounding the benefits of bacterial cultures. Unfortunately, many companies advertise with false claims, which is why the Health Claims Regulation 2012 was introduced to protect consumers. Despite everything, we believe that the responsibility should not lie with the customer, but rather with the companies that manufacture the products! We put your health first because you are important to us!
In addition to our product, we also want to be a platform that presents all sources and information openly and transparently. In the end, everyone can form their own picture of it and draw their own conclusions. We want to give you the information you need to make living a healthy lifestyle for your body and environment the norm.
